These beautiful fig crostini with vegan cream cheese are the perfect simple appetizer. The delicious flavor of the fresh figs pairs so well with the cashew-based cheese, black pepper, and basil

Ingredients

6 slices of Bread (Ciabatta or Baguette) 3 fresh figs 6 tbsp cashew cream cheese 3 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil Salt & pepper Optional: fresh basil Optional: balsamic vinegar

Instructions

Cut the bread of your choice into thin slices, and toast the bread after thinly brushing it with some olive oil to get an extra amazing crust and taste.

Give each slice a generous smear of the vegan cashew cream cheese. Top everything with nicely minced fig, and finish it with the thinly sliced basil, pepper, olive oil, or balsamic vinegar.

The crostinis are best enjoyed fresh as an appetizer or snack
