No reviews

These parsnip chips make the perfect snack. They are super simple and quick to make using an air fryer.

  • Total Time: 30 minutes
  • Yield: 1 small bowl

Ingredients

Scale
2 parsnips 1 tbsp olive oil 1/2 tsp salt Optional: 1/2 tsp black pepper

Instructions

Wash the parsnip. Use a mandoline or knife to slice the parsnip to 1-2mm thin slices.

Once the parsnips are sliced, toss them with the olive oil and spices. Add them to your air fryer and fry at 180° C (356 F) for 10-15 minutes. Toss them every other minute and keep a close eye on them.

Serve and enjoy fresh.

Notes

The perfect cooking time depends a bit on your fryer and the exact thickness of your chips. Take them out when they reach a nice dark golden color. They will quickly develop a bitter flavor if overcooked.

You can experiment with adding any spice of your linking to this recipe. A personal favorite: garlic powder.

Make small batches at a time in your fryer to prevent the parsnip chips from sticking together.
