Why not turn a real superfood into a refreshing ice cube? These orange turmeric ice cubes will turn your water drink into a vitamin bomb!

  • Total Time: 24 hours
  • Yield: 14 ice cubes 1x

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 3 organic oranges
  • 13g turmeric root
  • a few drops of oil
  • a pinch of pepper

Optional addition:

  • 42 daisies

Instructions

Wash an organic orange, then grate the peel from it. After that, we squeeze the three oranges and add the fresh juice.

Wash or peel the turmeric and grate it on a fine grater. Pour the orange juice and the grated turmeric into a glass or stainless steel blender jug (plastic could become discolored), add a few drops of oil and a little pepper, and blend everything with a blender.

Finally, press the grated pulp with a spoon through a sieve over a cup or let it pour through a coffee filter. And now, the delicious healthy juice for the ice cubes is ready!

Pour the juice into the ice cube mold, and place it in the freezer for about 24 hours.

Notes

I wear gloves to work with the turmeric because the root stains the skin so strongly and for so long!
