  • Total Time: 35 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale

1 cauliflower

3 1/2 tbsp miso paste

2 tbsp cane sugar

2 tbsp rice wine vinegar

3 tbsp neutral vegetable oil

2 tbsp sesame oil

Hot water as needed

Optional: Chives, sriracha and fresh ginger to garnish

Instructions

First, you need the miso glaze. Simply combine the ingredients and dilute the sauce with a bit of hot water. For more information on how to make the miso glaze, check out this recipe.

Preheat your oven to 200° Celsius (392° Fahrenheit)

Give the cauliflower a thorough wash. Next, break up the cauliflower into bite-sized pieces. Add it to a bowl, and toss it with the miso glaze.

Distribute the cauliflower evenly on a baking tray, and roast it for 15-20 minutes. Give it a toss in between, to make sure it is roasted evenly.

You can finish the miso glazed cauliflower with some fresh grated ginger, finely chopped chives and sriracha sauce.

Notes

You can also opt for bigger chunks or roast the cauliflower whole! It works perfectly and makes for a cool presentation.
